The International Alliance of Professional Hypnotists (IAPH), the parent company of the International Association of Counselors and Therapists and the International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy Association is in a class of distinction being one of the first associations to embrace the hypnosis profession without prejudice. True to its name, The International Alliance of Professional Hypnotists is non-discriminatory in membership.

As a non-certifying body of hypnosis practitioners, anyone with an interest in the art and science of Hypnosis is welcome to join and drink from the educational well. It is a place to learn, gain additional insight and gather information for ongoing education, research and study.

The IAPH offers ONE level of membership:

Membership is available to anyone who has an interest in complementary healthcare.

The International Association of Counselors and Therapists (IACT) is a leading association for holistic practitioners, providing a platform where members can exchange ideas, information, techniques, and methodologies. Distinguished as a multi-disciplinary association specializing in holistic techniques, IACT's membership encompasses a wide range of professionals including medical practitioners, psychologists, social workers, coaches, NLP practitioners, clergy, massage therapists, hypnotists, biofeedback specialists, nutritionists, educators, mental health therapists, substance abuse counselors, and others in the healing arts.

The IACT offers three membership levels:

1. Certified (top-tier level): For practitioners with at least 220 hours of hypnosis training (minimum 110 hours in classroom/online interactive training).

If trained by an IACT-approved trainer:

• Initial certification fee: $107 (USD)
• Annual non-automatic renewal: $117 (USD)

If trained by someone not affiliated with IACT:

• Initial certification fee: $232 (USD) *(There is a one-time, non-refundable administration fee of $50 for educational qualification review and a $50 administrative fee for the Certification Assessment.)

The International Medical and Dental Hypnotherapy association (IMDHA) is a Referral Service dedicated to providing the community with excellently trained Certified hypnotherapists. IMDHA Practitioners work harmoniously with allied healthcare professionals to aid individuals in dealing with specific challenges and procedures. In addition to medical challenges all IMDHA members assist persons in dealing effectively with non-medical problems. Finding solutions to self-sabotaging habits leads to peace of mind and control of unwanted, negative behavior. Self Empowerment is the goal.

The IMDHA offers TWO levels of membership:

1. Certified (top-tier level): For practitioners with at least 220 hours of hypnosis training (minimum 150 hours in classroom/online interactive training).

If trained by an IMDHA-approved trainer or school facility:

• Initial certification fee: $177 (USD)
• Annual non-automatic renewal: $127 (USD)

If trained by someone not affiliated with IMDHA:

• Initial certification fee: $277 (USD) *(There is a one-time, non-refundable administration fee of $50 for educational qualification review and a $50 administrative fee for the Certification Assessment.)

2. Associate (base level): Available to anyone interested in complementary healthcare.

• Annual non-automatic renewals: $122 (USD)

• The assessment is conducted online and includes 25 multiple-choice questions. There are NO trick questions!
• Completion must occur within 25 minutes of starting, and a minimum score of 80% is needed for certification.
• In the event of application denial, a refund will be issued, minus a $50 administrative review fee.
• Compliance with these guidelines is mandatory for all practitioners seeking certification through the IACT.

The Association values each candidate's responses, as they illustrate fundamental knowledge and professional understanding of Scope of Practice, Basic Ethics, and the Terminology utilized by certified practitioners.
